Objective: The Life Insurance Forum is an annual event organized by The Society of Actuaries of Thailand designed to assist actuary and other professionals in meeting CPD requirements.
The Seminar: A seminar on IFRS for insurers aimed specifically for actuaries who are responsible for financial reporting in compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or who need to be familiar with IFRS reporting as part of their work. New profit recognition model begins 2022. Over the course of 2 days, a diverse panel of industry experts will take you through this guidance in the form of lectures and interactive workshops. Topic will cover the accounting models, discounting, risk adjustment, profit recognition, financial statement presentation, disclosures and transition considerations.
