Background: The life
insurance industry has demonstrated resilience historically. In the period
ahead, it is facing a number of challenges — under an evolving environment
driven in part by emerging risks, and changes to the regulatory and reporting
standards. With risk management at the core, therein lies also the opportunity
for insurers to rethink and reshape their path forward.
This seminar aims to provide updates from
the region on risks embedded in products, and solutions to managing life
insurance business. We will also cover considerations as markets proceed to
report under IFRS 17 — and the ever important question of: “what’s next?”
The SOAT is pleased to be once again
hosting this event, which will take place on 19 September 2023 in Bangkok. Life
