The Society of Actuaries (SOA) is organizing the inaugural Big Data Seminar in Jakarta, Indonesia on 13th Nov. 2018 (Tue).
The use of big data has been growing in the insurance industries in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region and the analysis of big data is expected to expand exponentially in the coming years. Rising awareness and use of big data can be attributed to the continuous emphasis of companies to enhance customer service and productivity to edge out competition and drive revenue growth. Seasoned speakers from Manulife Indonesia, Nicholas Actuarial Solutions Malaysia and RGA will share with us their professional insights in general perspective of using Big Data in insurance, it's applications in Life, Health and Non-Life (i.e. motor insurance) industries.
